Exterior Designs Incorporated has been a leader in the exterior cladding industry for over decade. Under the leadership of company founder and president Mike Dion, what began as a small drywall company over 15 years ago has developed into a company that has completed over 100 million dollars in projects throughout the Northeast. Exterior Designs offers clients custom solutions for all exterior cladding including Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems (EIFS), Stucco, Cultured Stone, Thin Brick, Hardie Siding, and Aluminum Composite Material (ACM), commonly referred to as ACM Metal Panel.

Dion opened Drywall Designs in 1993 in a small office in Manchester, NH. While the company was extremely successful, Dion noticed a new product making its way into the marketplace. That product - EIFS, provides economic solutions for clients who want more than just a simple facelift for their existing building. EIFS is a cost effective solution to renovation projects that provides the flexibility to virtually redesign the exterior envelop Ðwhile providing cost saving insulation to the exterior of the building.

Mike immediately saw the advantages and economies that EIFS would allow him to offer his clients. Joining forces with colleague and EIFS expert, Kerry McCoole, Drywall Designs shifted their focus and soon became the "go to" company in the Northeast for EIFS installations. With the company's new focus and unprecedented growth, came a new name - Exterior Designs Incorporated (EDI).

Dion and McCoole brought a level of customer service and satisfaction to the construction industry that set them clearly apart from other companies. With an impeccable reputation, EDI set the bar for exterior cladding excellence, all while the drywall business continued to grow. The simultaneous successes of both their drywall and their exterior cladding services prompted the partners to separate the business into two distinct companies. In 2004, Metro Walls opened its doors to provide commercial drywall services, while Exterior Designs continued to concentrate on exterior cladding.

Both companies have experienced unparalleled success and have leveraged their expertise to provide seamless service to clients; including general contractors, development companies, building owners, and real estate developers.

After many years of a successful partnership, McCoole left the companies to enjoy some well deserved time with his family. Mike, however, hasn't slowed the pace for himself or his companies.

With the addition of Paul Hopp, vice president of Exterior Designs, the EIFS expertise continues. Paul's industry knowledge and reputation have proven an invaluable asset to the company.
